Now you can take a Muay Thai class at same time your kids ar learning skills in our Kids’ MMA class!
If you are a parent or guardian of a student who is enrolled in our class for kids, why sit on the outside, idolizing everybody’s fictional lives and gym selfies on social media? Instead, you can live in the present, take a class with like-minded adults, learn basic self-defense techniques and adopt a healthy fitness habit your child will admire you for.
Our new class is designed to educate children and their parents at the same class time. We created the Muay Thai Parents class because the moms of one of our younger students asked Chris when he was going to hold a self-defense workshop for the parents…a week later, the parents were on the mat sweating, training and learning real-life combat skills. On non-class days, it’s not unusual for the parents to be working combinations and sparring with their children.
Here are just some of the benefits
of learning Muay Thai with your kids. You will:
· Gain self-confidence.
· Learn discipline and respect.
· Bond through a shared experience.
· Spend more quality time together.
· Learn valuable skills that can keep your entire family safe and physically fit.
· Encourage one another to practice hard every day.
Our highly skilled and well-trained staff know how to make adjustments to enhance every student’s potential, based
on his or her age, skill level and temperament — both adults and children.
We have experience working with kids who are legally blind, troubled youths sent to us by the county, kids with ADHD and others. Martial arts training can be extremely beneficial for children with special needs ¾ and for their families! It gives them a way to focus their restless energy while doing something rewarding and fun.
If you want to participate in an activity that will challenge you and your children physically and mentally and to learn an ancient martial art together, then look no further.
Yes. With a paying child in the Kids’ MMA program, one parent or guardian participating in the program pays an additional $80 per month on top of the Kids’ MMA program ($239 total).
Absolutely. It’s $139 (month-to-month contract with 30 days notice to cancel) and is the same detailed instruction used in our Adult Muay Thai Program.
The classes differ in intensity and pace. Also, there are some senior students in the Adult Phase 1 class during training, while there are no senior students in the Muay Thai Parents class. Similar instruction and focus on key details are evident in all TAG classes.
If you would like to take both the Muay Thai Parents class and the Adult Phase 1 class, then you would pay just the Adult Phase 1 tuition $169 per month with a child in the Kids’ MMA program.
