If you want to be successful in a combative sport, you must learn how to use the ropes or cage walls to help limit an opponent's movement, control space, utilize leverage, and perfect your timing to effectively strike with combinations. Muay Thai Techniques and Skills is a class where you learn basic principles of movement and strategy applying basic Muay Thai techniques into a ring, cage, or an open area.

This class is for students or athletes looking to compete in a combative sport. In order for the class to run smoothly, a basic understanding of Muay Thai Striking is recommended. Class will start with a sparring drill explaining the technical aspects of its movements. By learning how to use the ropes or cage walls to help control space, utilize leverage, and perfect your timing with combinations, you will be more successful if you decide to compete. Muay Thai Techniques and Skills is the class where you learn basic principles of movement and strategy and applying basic Muay Thai techniques into a ring, cage, or an open area!

Depending on the skill level of the group, we will be rotating groups to practice what they just worked on in the beginning of class while utilizing a ring, a wall, or an open area. The Instructor or Coach will demonstrate and explain the technique on a partner, then he or she will demonstrate how to properly execute the technique on a partner and how it relates to a combative sport.

Each student will have the opportunity to practice and perfect their technique on multiple sized partners and an Instructor or Coach will help make any necessary corrections. If a student or multiple students are having difficulty with a particular technique or combination, they will be brought back in and adjustments with a more detailed explanation or drills to help correct any issues.

If a student needs more work or training besides the Saturday class, there are multiple Coaches available for private lessons to work on any issue a student might need more individualized attention on.
