TCB Fight Night right here in Ashburn, VA, was an amazing night for nak muay, Coach James. Coach James of T.A.G. Muay Thai earned a TKO at the local TCB (Thai Championship Boxing) fights!  The referee waved the fight off due to powerful and explosive knee strikes in the 2nd round [Related: How To Block With Knees in Muay Thai] . Coach James was dedicated in training for his fight, all while teaching Muay Thai classes, attending school, eating clean and working full-time.

This was a great personal victory for Coach James, and for the students of T.A.G. Muay Thai!  It shows the evolving curriculum we have and the enhancements we immediately implemented since our exhibition fights on June 2015 have paid off.  Discipline, consistent sparring 2-3 times a week, methodical partner drills, utilizing a strength and conditioning coach, and private Muay Thai training sessions with Kru Chris led Coach James to a complete body transformation from the walk-around-weight of 205lbs, to a leaner 185lbs.

Even with another “knockout” to T.A.G.’s resume, T.A.G. Muay Thai is dedicated to helping every fighter improve – win, lose, or draw.  We don’t stop learning after a win, in fact, we do more work and never settle.  As a gym goal to constantly improve –  we have all new T.A.G. Strike gear including lace-up gloves, shin guards and headgear that will be accessible for student training on a regular basis![metaslider id=1464]
